Cookie Policy

Here we explain which cookies and similar technologies our website uses (the website is owned by PetMapa), what they are for and how you can manage them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They can be used, for example, to remember settings or to enable forms to work.

The website does not set analytics or marketing cookies. Only strictly necessary data may be stored in your browser.

Similar technologies include the browser’s local storage, pixels and third-party scripts. For simplicity, this policy refers to all of them as cookies.

2. First-party and third-party cookies

First-party cookies are set by the website itself. Third-party cookies are set by external services connected to the website, such as analytics systems or embedded widgets. At present, no third-party analytics or advertising services are connected to the website. If they are added, the processing of data by such services will also be subject to their own privacy policies. The Cloudflare Turnstile service may be used to protect forms from spam: it processes technical device data and may store service information in your browser. This service is considered a strictly necessary tool.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

This data is needed for pages to work properly and to protect forms from spam. It is stored without separate consent where the applicable law allows this, and it is not used for advertising.

4. Analytics cookies

This section applies only if web analytics tools are enabled on the website. In that case, they help us understand, in aggregate form, which pages visitors find useful, where they come from and where they run into difficulties.

At present, no such tools are used on the website. If they are added, analytics cookies will be set only after you give your consent, and the list of services will be provided in this section.

5. Marketing cookies

This section applies only if advertising or retargeting tools are connected to the website. Such cookies make it possible to show more relevant ads on other websites and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

At present, no advertising tools are used on the website. If they are added, marketing cookies will be set only with your consent.

6. Cookie consent

Since the website does not currently use analytics or marketing cookies, no consent banner is shown.

If analytics or advertising tools are added to the website in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before using them. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of any use of cookies before the withdrawal.

7. Browser settings

Most browsers let you view and delete stored cookies, and block either third-party cookies or all cookies. This is usually done in the privacy or security section of the settings.

Please note: if you block strictly necessary cookies, some website features, such as submitting a request, may not work correctly.

  • Google Chrome — “Settings” → “Privacy and security”.
  • Mozilla Firefox — “Settings” → “Privacy & Security”.
  • Safari — “Settings” → “Privacy”.
  • Microsoft Edge — “Settings” → “Cookies and site permissions”.

8. Personal data and cookies

Some cookies may contain data that qualifies as personal, such as a device identifier or IP address. Such data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which describes the legal grounds, recipients, cross-border transfers and your rights.

If you have questions about our use of cookies, you can ask us via messenger or by phone — our contact details are on the “Contact” page.

9. Updates to this policy

The set of tools we use may change. If new categories of cookies are added, we will update this page and, for analytics and marketing cookies, ask for your consent.
