Website Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of the website owned by PetMapa (“the Company”). By opening and using the website, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms.
1. General provisions
The website provides information about the Company’s services for preparing veterinary documents for animals travelling abroad and about its consultations, and allows you to submit a request.
The terms of specific services are set out in a contract with the client. In the event of any discrepancy between these terms and the contract, the contract prevails.
2. Paid services and payment
The cost of paid services, including a paid consultation, is communicated before they are provided.
Some details in this section will be added after legal review. If you need them now, message us and we'll reply.
3. Informational nature of the content
Articles, destination descriptions, answers to frequently asked questions and other content on the website are for general information only. They reflect typical situations and do not take into account the circumstances of a particular animal or a particular trip.
Requirements for the import and transport of animals depend on the destination country, transit countries, the species of animal, the carrier and the travel date, and may change without prior notice. The Company strives to keep its content up to date but does not guarantee that all information is complete and accurate at every moment.
4. Website content is not a substitute for a consultation
The information on the website does not constitute legal or veterinary advice, a veterinary opinion or a treatment recommendation. The Company provides consultations — free and paid — on request; the cost of a paid consultation is communicated before booking. Decisions on vaccination, examinations and the animal’s fitness to travel are made by a veterinarian after an examination.
If your animal has health problems or you are unsure whether it will cope with the trip, please tell our specialist when you contact us.
5. Confirming requirements
The Company prepares veterinary documents for an animal’s travel abroad. Transport rules, including pet carrier requirements and whether the animal is allowed on board, must be confirmed with the airline or transport company, and current import requirements with the competent authorities of the destination or transit country.
6. The Company’s role
The Company is not a public authority. Veterinary procedures are carried out and documents are issued by the Company’s veterinarians.
The final decision on whether an animal is accepted for transport and admitted to a country is made by the carrier and the competent authorities of the countries concerned. The Company cannot influence such decisions.

7. Rules for using the website
By using the website, you agree to:

- not take any action that disrupts the website, including automated data collection and attempts to gain unauthorised access;

9. Limitation of liability
The Company is liable for the services it provides under a contract with the client, to the extent and on the terms provided for by that contract and the applicable law.
The website content is for information only. The Company is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of this content without consulting the Company’s specialists or confirming requirements with the competent authorities and the carrier.
The Company is not liable for decisions of border, veterinary and other public authorities or of carriers that are beyond its control; for changes to rules made by third parties; or for the temporary unavailability of the website for technical reasons.
The Company is not liable for the content or operation of third-party websites that may be linked from the website.
